Seeing Heath Ledger to his death is devastating. The news only broke a few hours ago and that fugly, vile, obese fag Pigez Hilton is already making rumors about Heath's untimely death, it is one moment that I hope his dealth will be the next to make headlines. The fact that Pigez could actually make a joke out of this tragedy just proves what a disgrace to homosexuality and humanity in general he is. The person you commented on is dead, that surpasses everything. (I'm glad though, that other gossip sites like Dlisted is dealing this issue with sensitivity and respect.)

The Sydney Morning Herald has a video of a NYPD detective briefing the media outside Heath's apartment.

Paul Browne, Deputy Commissioner for Public Information of the New York Police Department, held a press conference on Heath Ledger Tuesday night.

He confirmed the following:

• The deceased was discovered by a masseuse and a housekeeper at approximately 2:45 p.m. today.
• The masseuse was there for a regular appointment.
• The deceased was found in his bedroom.
• The deceased was lying on the floor, curled up, at the foot of his bed.
• The deceased was naked and face down.
• There were not pills found scattered around the room as had been previously reported.
• There were some prescription bottles, including prescription sleeping medication, uncovered.
• Police do not know how long the deceased had been in the apartment.
• The deceased was renting the apartment.
• The cause of death has not yet been determined. The determination will be made by the medical examiners office.

That last scene in Brokeback never fails to reduce me to tears. We don't know how to quit you Heath.
