Lambda Chi Alpha is at it again!
Bradley Swearingen, a senior at the University of North Texas, has filed a lawsuit against Lambda Chi Alpha. His lawyer claimed that Swearingen had a neck fracture during the rush week in 2006, and missed a year of school and work to rehabilitation.
The suit named both the local chapter and the national organization, as well each of the 68 residents who lived in the Iota-Zeta chapter as defendants. It seeks unspecified damages for the medical bills, loss of income and continued pain and suffering. It was rumored that the medical bills alone were over $300,000.
